I am personally disappointed on reading this. Till now all parents was complaining about their kids accidently entering into porn sites. I guess they would have been using some filtering software to block porn sites. Thats really cumbersome as there is no easy way to find out whether a site is porn related or not.
That said, if at all this voting was won, all porn sites would end with .XXX thats real simple for parents to block right? Then why the hell have they not approved this ... only god knows.
Six years back on the same day I married Sai Lakshmi (12-July-2000). I know Sai for almost 13 years now :) I fell in love with her during my 12th standard. Ya thats true, i get these popups when i work at home, this creates a nusence when i am chatting to friends with my family ....
if it was a diff domain(.xxx), it would have been easy to elimate for the spyware peoples as u said..

I may suggest to stop these whole stuff, keeping in my the future of small kids. Bcs people will come to know abt this as they grow. :]

If at all you are using Windows XP then in its Service Pack (SP) 2 there is an in-built popup blocker software.
