Google Chrome ...

Yesterday morning I read about Google Chrome (Beta) and thought of trying it out immediately. I downloaded the installer from here. As usual Google's installer size is pretty less ... its only 475 KB! I guess while installing its actual size would be in few MB's.

The installation was pretty fast and no surprises here as that's expected of Google :)
Few things which i found interesting in this new browser from Google are:

1. Every time I open a new tab, there is a visual sampling of the most visited sites, search engines, and recently bookmarked pages.

[If you are using a shared computer at home then going forward need to be very careful while browsing sites. Hope you don't wanna be caught for visiting 'some' sites :) ]

2. You can quickly see how much of memory is being used by each tabs within the browser with the help of SHIFT + ESC key. This will really helpful in situations where we want to close a tab which isn't functioning as expected. This is much wanted feature for me atleast because in IE most of the time if a tab crashes it kills all the tabs automatically!

Check out all the features of Google Chrome here

Everything was fine till I planned to close down the browser which had 8 tabs in it. Once I clicked on browser close button it throwed an strange error!!

See the window says Google Chrome has crashed! On clicking 'Cancel' it throwed the next error dialogue box.

Also when i tried closing a process (using SHIFT + ESC) it closed the tab which I wanted it to close. But after that in the another tab where GMAIL was opened throwed an error.
